My name is Sam and I am on a mission to have adventures around the world! This blog details my experience teaching in Mongolia, as well as being an education Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique (Moz 21) and my adventures living in the town of Chalon-sur-Saône in Burgundy, France for 7.5 months and working as an English Teaching Assistant.

My goal in life is to live in the moment and to continue to learn as I experience new things, travel, and meet people from all over the world.  I have a passion for teaching and for learning, and believe that everything I have done and everyone I have met has made me a better person.

I am easily inspired and aim to inspire others as well, so I hope my random posts and nonsensical adventures will at least entertain you if not inspire!

And because I love quotes…

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning how to dance in the rain”

“Be in love with your life.  Every detail of it.” –Jack Kerouac

“There are so many places we have not yet seen.  So many people still to meet.” –Neil Gaiman

  1. Sam, I lov your stories of life there in mosembique (sp). Sounds like an interesting place where you are. Your Grandma Krueger gave me your website. Stay safe!
